Shadwell homebred Zaajel (f, 3, Street Sense–Asiya, by Daaher) got the job done as the heavy favorite in her first try against winners in Gulfstream's GIII Forward Gal S. Saturday. A 7 1/4-length track-and-trip romper on debut Dec. 20, the 3-5 chalk wasn't off particularly well but crept closer while out wide down the backside.
