Greatest Honour wins the Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream Park
Courtlandt Farms' Greatest Honour launched a strong, four-wide move on the final turn and took a big step forward on the Road to the Kentucky Derby Jan. 30 by posting a decisive victory in the $200,000 Holy Bull Stakes (G3) for 3-year-olds at Gulfstream Park.
Tarantino was second, followed by the even-money favorite Prime Factor and Papetu.
A homebred son of Tapit , Greatest Honour is trained by Shug McGaughey.
Final time for the 5-2 second choice ($7.60) ridden by Jose Ortiz was 1:43.19 for the 1 1/16 miles.
The top four finishers received 10-4-2-1 qualifying points for the Run for the Roses.
