Lost Treasure has sired his first reported foal, a colt out of the Candy Ride mare Little Miss S, Hill 'n' Dale Farms at Xalapa announced Feb. 3.
The colt, bred in Kentucky by Watershed Bloodstock after his dam was purchased at the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale, is the third foal out of Little Miss S, a half sister to Santa Anita Oaks (G1) winner Crisp, dam of Japan Dirt Derby winner Danon Pharaoh.
"How fitting that the first foal by this regally-bred group-placed son of War Front from the immediate family of Galileo would be out of a half sister to grade 1 winner Crisp, by El Corredor," said John Sikura, president of Hill 'n' Dale. "That's what happens when you have great partners like Glen Hill Farm who sent the mare to Lost Treasure."
Lost Treasure is out of group 2 winner Wading (Montjeu), a full sister to Darley Irish Oaks (G1) heroine Bracelet and half sister to Belmont Oaks Invitational (G1T) winner Athena. His third dam, Urban Sea, is the dam of champions and leading European sires Galileo and Sea The Stars.
"I am a big believer in this stallion's chances," added Sikura. "I couldn't ask for a better start to this promising young stallion's career."
Lost Treasure stands for $5,000 in 2021.
