Turfway, Fair Grounds Cancel Feb. 11 Due to Weather

A winter storm that brought freezing precipitation to Kentucky has forced the cancellation of racing at Turfway Park Feb. 11-12, while racing at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots was scrapped Thursday following heavy rain.

Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Ark., also canceled racing Feb. 13-15 in anticipation of freezing temperatures and harsh weather. Delta Downs also canceled Monday racing due to the cold forecast.
