Attorney Rita Glavin, who has represented Jason Servis in a federal race-doping court case, has an even higher profile client in New York State governor Andrew Cuomo.

According to multiple media reports, Glavin is representing Cuomo, who is at the center of multiple investigations amidst calls for the embattled governor to step down from his office.

With Cuomo facing allegations from eight women who claim that they were sexually harassed by him, Glavin recently told the New York Times, "None of this is remarkable, although it may be old-fashioned."

Cuomo is also facing intense scrutiny for charges that the number of nursing home deaths in New York State during the COVID-19 pandemic were intentionally misreported.

Cuomo has steadfastly refused to resign despite the charges swirling around him.

Glavin worked for Seward & Kissel when she represented Servis at his March 9, 2020, indictment in a race-doping scheme that also involved Jorge Navarro. Both Servis and Navarro, who had their trainer's license revoked following their arrest, are both free on bail awaiting the start of their trial in United States federal court—which may not happen until the fall at the earliest.

The 49-year-old Glavin, a former prosecutor in the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, which is prosecuting the Servis-Navarro case, is now working for her own law firm, Glavin PLLC.
