Hush of a Storm , who was scratched from the March 27 Jeff Ruby Steaks (G3) at Turfway Park, could make his next start in the April 3 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G2) at Keeneland.

"We hope to run in the Blue Grass," trainer Bill Morey told Keeneland media Sunday at the Lexington track. "When we scratched (out of the Jeff Ruby), we brought him here yesterday afternoon."

Hush of a Storm was the 4-1 morning-line second choice for the Jeff Ruby off a victory in the Feb. 26 John Battaglia Memorial Stakes, in which he defeated eventual Jeff Ruby winner Like the King .

The 3-year-old Creative Cause   colt has won his last three starts, all at Turfway since December. He was bred in New York by Berkshire Stud out of the Flatter   mare Hush Now and purchased by his owner for $75,000 from de Meric Sales' consignment to the 2020 Ocala Breeders' Sales Spring 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale. He has earned $65,985 from four career starts.

Morey said Hush of a Storm is scheduled to work Monday morning. Santiago Gonzalez, who has been aboard for all three of Hush of a Storm's victories, would have the mount in the Blue Grass.

The Blue Grass offers Road to the Kentucky Derby points on a 100-40-20-10 scale. Hush of the Storm earned 10 points for winning the John Battaglia Memorial.
