New England Patriots defensive lineman Vince Wilfork loves the horse racing lifestyle; in fact, he’s said that he wants to be a trainer after his professional football career ends. “Believe it or not, I’m starting to read about the structure of horses and how to train. In the offseason I plan to spend time learning the trade of training. Maybe in my post-football career I will become a trainer,” Wilfork told the USTA News. In 2010, Wilfork’s wife gave him a fantastic Christmas present: his first Thoroughbred.
