Description:
Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Mucho Macho Man returned to his Gulfstream Park base just before noon Nov. 6 following a cross-country flight from Southern California.

Upon arriving at Palm Beach International Airport on a flight that originated in Los Angeles, the horse owned by Reeves Thoroughbred Racing rode in a van to Gulfstream, where he was greeted by trainer Kathy Ritvo.

"He looks great," said Ritvo, who became the first woman in the 30-year history of the Breeders' Cup to saddle a Classic winner.

A Florida-bred 5-year-old by Macho Uno   out the Ponche mare Ponche de Leona, Mucho Macho Man will winter at Gulfstream. He will make an appearance at the track Nov. 9 in conjunction with the eight-race Florida Sunshine Millions Preview program.

A decision on whether Mucho Macho Man will race again next year or be retired to stud has not been made.

"We're going to let him get settled in this week and then start talking," Ritvo said.
