A New York-bred son of first-crop sire Connect breezed the fastest quarter-mile of :20 3/5 April 17 during the sixth and final session of the Ocala Breeders' Sales Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training under tack show.
Consigned as Hip 1135 by Scanlon Training and Sales, agent, the colt is out of the Rock Hard Ten mare Miss Ten and from the female family of grade 1 winners Manistique and Unbridled Command . Both his second and third dams, Unbridled Danz (Unbridled's Song) and Chartreuse (Danzatore), are black-type winners.
Hip 1135 was bred by Hidden Lake Farm and South Elkhorn. He previously sold as a weanling for $100,000 to Jonathan Thorne when consigned by RFHF Bloodstock to the 2019 Fasig-Tipton New York Saratoga Fall Mixed Sale. He was a $70,000 buyback from the James M. Herbener consignment to the 2020 Fasig-Tipton Selected Yearlings Showcase.
Saturday's under tack show, which began at 9:30 a.m. ET, was pushed back an hour and a half due to a weather delay.

Throughout the six sessions of the breeze show, two fillies shared the fastest quarter-mile time of :20 2/5. They were Hip 317, a Classic Empire daughter consigned by Golden Rock Thoroughbreds from the family of grade 3 winner, multiple grade 1-placed Stays in Vegas and grade 1 winner Persistently ; and Hip 576, a Cupid daughter consigned by Q Bar J Thoroughbreds whose extended family includes Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) winner Barbaro.
Twenty juveniles worked an eighth-mile in :9 4/5 throughout the entire breeze show.
