Newcomers don't come more interesting, or valuable, than a full sister to Frankel —and that is precisely what we have in store at Sandown April 23.

Chiasma is, and will be, the only full sister to the great unbeaten champion turned Juddmonte supersire, as very sadly her dam, Kind, died last month at age 20 a few days after foaling a colt by Kingman .

The marvelous mare foaled only one other filly, group stakes winner Joyeuse, now part of Juddmonte's broodmare band, but she is a half sister to 10-time group 1 winner Frankel, being by Oasis Dream .

Galileo 's daughter Chiasma does not just have the one group 1-winning full brother as Noble Mission  also struck three times at the highest level, while another sibling, Bullet Train , was no slouch either as the winner of the Totesport.com Derby Trial (G3).

It all adds up to a pedigree of the deepest blue blood, and while the ITV4 cameras will have finished rolling by the time the 3-year-old makes her debut in the Bet365 Fillies' Novice Stakes at Sandown, interest in the meeting will be far from over.

The John and Thady Gosden-trained filly, who will be her dam's first runner since 2016, faces five rivals. Four are likewise homebreds, three of whom are also having their first run.

The most experienced horse in the small but extremely select field is Godolphin's all-weather winner Nash Nasha, the only non-homebred having cost a cool €1 million (US$1,138,700) at Arqana in December 2018.

John Gosden said: "Chiasma has been rather slow to come to hand but has been pleasing us in the last few weeks and is ready for a run. She's shaping more like a middle-distance filly, so this looks a good starting point."

Given the Frankie Dettori-ridden filly is debuting over a mile and a quarter, Juddmonte's racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe also expects her to prove more of a stayer than her world-famous brother.

"Indications are she could be suited by this trip, possibly even a mile and a half," he said. "She's been very straightforward this spring, but it remains to be seen what sort of talent she has.

"The weight of expectation with a horse like her will always be enormous, and she has a lot to live up to, to say the least, but she needs to be given every chance.

"Prince Khalid's family have the same sporting instinct as their father had, and these horses are bred to race. You find out how good they are only on the racecourse; breeding operations need to know the level of ability.

"We're looking forward to it and everyone at Juddmonte will be watching, plus a whole load more people besides."
