Change of Control wins the Giant's Causeway Stakes at Keeneland

Roddy Harrison's Change of Control , winner of the April 10 Giant's Causeway Stakes at Keeneland, heads an overflow field of 10 fillies and mares plus three also-eligibles for the $150,000 Unbridled Sidney Stakes April 29 at Churchill Downs.

Contested at 5 1/2 furlongs on the Matt Winn Turf Course, the Unbridled Sidney will share the spotlight on an 11-race program with the $130,000 Opening Verse Overnight Stakes for 4-year-olds and up going a mile on the turf. The Unbridled Sidney will go as the 10th race with a 5:45 p.m. ET post time.

Third to Unbridled Sidney also-eligible Ambassador Luna  in last year's off-the-turf race, Change of Control gave trainer Michelle Lovell her 500th career victory when she won the Giant's Causeway by a length under Colby Hernandez, who has the return call from post 2.

Back to challenge the daughter of Fed Biz   are the second- and third-place finishers from the Giant's Causeway—Into Mystic  and Jakarta .

Chris Coleman and Brad King's Into Mystic was sent off as the even-money favorite in the Giant's Causeway, but was caught in deep stretch after breaking from the rail, which is where she will begin Thursday. Trained by Brendan Walsh, the daughter of Into Mischief   will be reunited with Florent Geroux.

Three Diamonds Farm's Jakarta finished 4 1/2 lengths behind Into Mystic at Keeneland. Luis Saez retains the mount for trainer Mike Maker from post 6.

Team Valor Internationa's homebred grade 1 winner Oleksandra  comes in off a runner-up finish in the Feb. 15 Wishing Well Stakes at Santa Anita Park. Joel Rosario has the call from post 4 for trainer Neil Drysdale on the Animal Kingdom  mare, who is in foal to Into Mischief.

Captivating Moon, Gray's Fable Head Opening Verse

Recent grade 3 winners Captivating Moon  and Gray's Fable  share the top weight of 123 pounds for a field of nine older runners entered Saturday for the one-mile Opening Verse over the Matt Winn Turf Course.

The Opening Verse will go as the eighth race with a 4:37 p.m. post time.

Lothenbach Stables' homebred Captivating Moon—longshot winner of the Fair Grounds Stakes (G3T) in February at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots—returns to Churchill Downs, where he finished second as the favorite in last year's Opening Verse.

Trained by Chris Block, Captivating Moon comes into the Opening Verse off a sixth-place finish in the March 20 Muniz Memorial Classic (G2T) at Fair Grounds. Julien Leparoux has the mount from post 8 aboard the Chris Block-trained son of Malibu Moon  .

Steve Goldfine, Karl Provost and Jeff Zlonis' Gray's Fable came off a 6 1/2-month layoff to win his 2021 debut in the March 27 Kitten's Joy Appleton Stakes (G3T) at Gulfstream Park. Trained by Roger Attfield, the son of Gio Ponti   will exit post 1 under John Velazquez.

Bloom Racing Stable's Snapper Sinclair  returns from a trip to Dubai, where he ran fourth in the Godolphin Mile Sponsored By Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City—District One (G2) for trainer Steve Asmussen. Ricardo Santana Jr. has the call from post 7.
