Jackie's Warrior schools before the Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn Park

Kirk and Judy Robison's two-time grade 1 winner Jackie's Warrior  headlines a loaded field of a dozen 3-year-olds May 1 in the Pat Day Mile Presented by LG&E and KU (G2) at Churchill Downs. 

Trained by Steve Asmussen, the son of Maclean's Music   won his first four starts at 2, including daylight victories in the Saratoga Special Stakes Presented by Miller Lite (G2), Runhappy Hopeful Stakes (G1), and Champagne Stakes (G1), before closing out his freshman season with a fourth behind Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) favorite Essential Quality  in the TVG Breeders' Cup Juvenile Presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (G1). He finished third in his only start of 2021, the Feb. 27 Southwest Stakes (G3) at Oaklawn Park.

Godolphin's homebred Prevalence  leaves post 5 with Tyler Gaffalione up. Trained by Brendan Walsh, the Medaglia d'Oro   colt looks to rebound off a sixth in the April 3 Wood Memorial Stakes Presented by Resorts World Casino (G2) at Aqueduct Racetrack after impressing with back-to-back maiden and allowance scores at Gulfstream Park. 

Chasing his first career stakes score for Exline-Border Racing, SAF Racing, Richard Hausman, and Stonestreet Stables and trainer Peter Eurton is Dream Shake . The Twirling Candy   colt was third at Santa Anita Park in the March 6 San Felipe Stakes (G2) and April 3 Runhappy Santa Anita Derby (G1). Flavien Prat rides from post 8.
