"The market for racehorses is very strong right now, and the sale's placement ahead of the lucrative summer race meets make this auction immensely popular with buyers," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning.

Regarded as the nation's number one sale of horses of racing age since 2013, this event has produced proven results on the track with 27% stakes horses and 96 stakes wins from 9,414 starts. The 2020 HORA Sale offered 119 horses, with 81 sold for an average price of $62,617. The 2020 sale-topper, a son of Oxbow   named County Final  consigned by John Ennis Training, agent, sold for $475,000 to West Point Thoroughbreds, L.E.B., agent. He went on to win the 2020 Tyro Stakes at Monmouth Park for West Point, William Sandbrook, and Anna Marie Shannon.

The HORA sale precedes The July Sale, which has 348 selected yearlings cataloged, beginning with the precocious freshman sire showcase.
