Barclay Tagg said he has no concrete plans for Charles Fipke's grade I winner Java's War, who was moved to the trainer's barn Aug. 14 after previously being trained by Ken McPeek.

The Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I) winner ran last of four in the Swaps Stakes (gr. II) at Betfair Holllywood Park in his most recent outing. He had been pointed by McPeek toward the $1 million Travers Stakes (gr. I) Aug. 24 at Saratoga Race Course.

"I'm not sure yet what we're going to do; he only came into my barn yesterday," Tagg said Aug. 15. "I'm going to fool around with him for a few days before I make any decision. The Travers is remotely possible. We'll just have to see, and of course, discuss anything with Mr. Fipke first."

Java's War, who is 3-1-1 from nine career starts, previously finished second to Verrazano in the Tampa Bay Derby (gr. II) and 13th in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).

A son of War Pass bred by Fipke, Java's War breezed over the Oklahoma training track at Saratoga Aug. 11, getting three furlongs in :37.12.
