

Summer Wind Equine's homebred More Moonshine, a full sister to dual grade 1 winner Moonshine Memories , is set to debut July 18 for trainer Bill Mott at Saratoga Race Course.
The 3-year-old Malibu Moon filly will be ridden by Junior Alvarado in the seven-furlong maiden special weight test, set to go off as Race 7 at 4:29 pm ET.
More Moonshine will face a field of eight other maiden fillies 3 years old and up, including first-time starter Mezcal , a daughter of Pioneerof the Nile and 2016 Longines Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Cathryn Sophia ; Perfect Grace , a Tapit filly that finished second in her first two starts, who is out of 2011 Horse of the Year Havre de Grace ; and Big City Momma , a $700,000 yearling who finished third in her May 6 debut at Belmont Park.
More Moonshine has been training at Saratoga, with her first official work since arriving coming May 19. In her most recent work, More Moonshine was timed in :47.48 going a half-mile on the Oklahoma Training Track. She had trained at Saratoga last summer also but never made a start.
More Moonshine is out of Unenchantedevening, a half sister to 1997 Horse of the Year Favorite Trick. Aside from Moonshine Memories, the Unbridled's Song mare has produced six other winners, including Indian Evening . That sibling won the Swynford Stakes and placed third in the Three Chimeys Saratoga Special Stakes (G2) while only making three starts. Unenchantedevening also has an unraced 2-year-old Malibu Moon colt named Lunar Legacy , and a 2021 colt by Justify named Just Before Dawn.
The filly's female family traces to millionaire Favorite Tale, four-time grade 1 winner Tiz the Law , and the late graded stakes winner and stallion Fury Kapcori , among others.
More Moonshine was given morning-line odds of 5-1 and will leave post 7. The program favorite is the Chad Brown trainee Equal Pay at odds of 2-1.
