Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Catalog Online

The catalog for the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale is now online and can be viewed at tattersalls.ie. The sale takes place on its original date of Sept. 21-22 and has been relocated to Park Paddocks, Newmarket.

A quality selection of 488 yearlings have been selected for Part I with 101 yearlings selected for Part II, which takes place directly after Part I on the evening of Sept. 22. All yearlings cataloged will be candidates for the €300,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes which takes place at the Curragh on Irish Champions Weekend. As well as the big pot for purchasers, the vendor of the winning horse will also drive away in an Overlander two-stall horsebox. 

The Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale has gone from strength to strength in recent years and last year's record-breaking renewal has produced several top-class performers headlined by the GAIN Railway Stakes (G2) winner Go Bears Go  at the Curragh. Purchased for £50,000 (US$64,629) by Aguiar Bloodstock, the son of Kodi Bear  won his debut performance before finishing second in the Norfolk Stakes (G2) for David Loughnane and Amo Racing. Other notable performers include Tattersalls Gold Cup (G1) winner Helvic Dream  for Noel Meade as well as group 3 winning 2-year-olds Hermana Estrella  and Beauty Inspire  who were purchased for €12,000 ($14,091), £42,000 ($53,829), and £25,000 ($32,315) respectively. 

The 2021 catalog features full or half brothers and sisters to several group and listed winners including the half brother to last year's Criterium de Saint-Cloud (G1) winner Gear Up , the Galileo Gold  half brother to Betway Sweet Solera Stakes (G3) winner Star of Emaraaty , and the half brother to Tattersalls Musidora Stakes (G3) winner Shutter Speed . Castlehyde Stud's Lot 422 received a timely update with the 2-year-old half brother Have A Good Day  winning the Darley Prix de Cabourg (G3) at Deauville Aug. 3. Other black-type performers whose siblings feature among the catalog include Pretty Perfect , Cimeara , Curly , Zacinto , Geometrical , and many more.

The catalog is online now and will be available from Tattersalls Ireland and Tattersalls Ireland representatives from Aug. 6.
