Martha Miller, Wife of Mack Miller, Dies

Martha McCauley Miller, 91, wife of the late Hall of Fame trainer MacKenzie "Mack" Miller, died March 22. Her husband died in December 2010.



Survivors include a daughter, Martha Cary (John) Queen; a son, MacKenzie Todd (Susana) Miller; two grandchildren; a sister, Mary "Woo" (Ber) Rasnick; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce McCauley and Dottie Miller.



The couple married in 1951. They divided their time between Long Island N.Y., Versailles, Ky., and Aiken, S.C. She was a member of the Versailles Presbyterian Church.

Miller graduated from Margaret Hall in 1940, from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Chemistry and Physiology, and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She was an avid reader, golfer, and voracious fan of UK sports and the Cincinnati Reds.



Memorials are suggested to Old Friends, 1841 Payne's Depot Road, Georgetown, KY, 40324, or to the Woodford Library, 115 N. Main Street, Versailles, Ky., 40383.
