A protracted bidding war over a strapping bay colt by two-time North American leading sire Into Mischief left him in the hands of Coolmore's M.V. Magnier, who made the final bid of $2.6 million.
Bred by Don Alberto out of the grade 1 winner Paola Queen , the colt was sold as Hip 168 by Gainesway as agent. Paola Queen, by Flatter , won the Test Stakes (G1) and was second in the Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2). The colt is her second foal. She also produced a filly by Into Mischief this year.
