Racing at Delaware Park
Delaware Park canceled racing Aug. 12, as they did a day earlier for racing on Aug. 11, citing excessive heat forecast for the region.
The National Weather Service has predicted temperatures in the high 90s with a heat index of value approaching the mid-100s on both Wednesday and Thursday.
Live racing is scheduled to resume Aug. 14.
The Cape Henlopen Stakes, originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been rescheduled for Aug. 16.
