Planning Continues for In-Person Owner Conference

The Jockey Club and OwnerView continue to plan a one-day, in-person Owner Conference during Breeders' Cup week in Del Mar, Calif. These conferences are attended by existing owners and those considering ownership.
The conference is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. PT followed by a conference dinner that evening. The conference location has not been finalized, but the Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa is expected to be announced soon as the conference host site.
The Jockey Club and OwnerView said as part of the planning, it's important to know how many attendees are expected for the conference to insure they have the correct number of hotel rooms, the correct amount of food and beverage counts, and Breeders' Cup race day tickets to order along with the Breeders' Cup Draw and Breakfast Marquee. Initial estimates based on feedback is about 100 guests; however as of Aug. 31, they are well short of that goal.
Should any unexpected COVID-19 restrictions keep the conference from being conducted, registration fees will be fully refunded.
