The Into Mischief filly consigned as Hip 356 at the Keeneland September Sale
The Spendthrift Farm principals know a good Into Mischief when they see one, and they would not be denied Sept. 14 in their pursuit of a well-bred daughter of their flagship stallion at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
As the hammer fell at $1.25 million, Spendthrift emerged victorious for the filly offered as Hip 356 and consigned by Bluewater Sales Agency. Bred by China Horse Club, she is a daughter of grade 1 winner Embellish the Lace , who is a half sister to grade 1 winner Afleet Express . The yearling filly is from the family of grade 1 winner Materiality and of grade 1-placed grade 2 winner My Miss Sophia .
