Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 1,586 yearlings for its Kentucky October Yearlings Sale on Oct. 25-28 in Lexington. The four continuous sessions, conducted Monday through Thursday, will begin each day at 10 a.m. ET.
"Kentucky October has developed into one of the most important yearling sales on the calendar," said Fasig-Tipton president and CEO Boyd Browning Jr. "This year's catalog is outstanding, with every current top 25 ranked sire represented by multiple yearlings. Buyers will find tremendous quality no matter what their budget."
Sale graduates continue to have success at the highest levels, notching nearly 200 stakes wins or placings in 2021. These include current stars Hot Rod Charlie , winner of the Sept. 25 Pennsylvania Derby (G1) at Parx Racing, and undefeated 2-year-old colt Jack Christopher , who captured the Oct. 2 Champagne Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park.
The final stop on the North American yearling sales tour, the sale has expanded to four selling sessions in recent years to help accommodate the increase in market demand. It is nationally a top-ranked yearling sale by percentage of grade 1 winners and graded stakes winners sold.
The catalog may now be viewed online, and will also be available via the equineline sales catalog app. Print catalogs will be available on-site during sales week in Lexington.
