No Never No More , a son of the late Scat Daddy who is closely related to No Nay Never , will stand at Pleasant Acres Stallions near Morriston, Fla., for the 2022 breeding season with a $2,500 fee, the farm announced Oct. 6.
Scat Daddy, a multiple grade 1 winner and earner of $1,334,300, has sired 136 black-type winners, 15 champions, and 791 winners from eight crops of racing age. His progeny have earned a collective total of $94,154,956 to date. "No Never No More is a handsome, athletic individual with a lovely head and kind eye. He exudes pure class as his pedigree would suggest," said owner Irwin Olian of Tigertail Ranch.
The unraced No Never No More, bred in Kentucky by Silver Meadow Farms, is out of Whosetheclownnow, a daughter of Horse of the Year Tiznow . An earner of more than $6.4 million, Tiznow is a two-time Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winner. He was retired from breeding last year and was on the stallion roster at WinStar Farm in Kentucky for almost 20 years. Tiznow's daughters have produced 49 black-type winners to date, including multiple grade 1 winner and 2020 Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets (G1) hero Tiz the Law .
Whosetheclownnow is a half sister to Cat's Eye Witness, who produced group 1 winner and group 1-producing sire No Nay Never, who is also a son of Scat Daddy. A precocious 2-year-old, No Nay Never was undefeated in three starts as a juvenile, taking the Darley Prix Morny (G1) and the Norfolk Stakes (G2). At 3 he won the Woodford Stakes Presented by Keeneland Select (G3T) and was also second in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T) and the Swale Stakes (G2), run on the dirt. No Nay Never, who stands at Coolmore Stud in Ireland and was advertised at a €125,000 in 2021, was a champion first-crop sire in 2018 and sired a champion from his first crop. His 2021 yearlings sold in North America this year have brought up to $450,000.
The second dam, the graded stakes-placed Comical Cat (Exceller), also produced Ack Ack Handicap (G3) winner Cat's Career , black-type winner Al's River Cat, and La Violette, the dam of three black-type horses, including Exacta Systems Juvenile Fillies Stakes winner Ultima D , who is a daughter of Scat Daddy.
