The Breeders' Cup work tab continued Oct. 24 with contenders breezing at Belmont Park, Churchill Downs, Keeneland, Palm Meadows Training Center, and Santa Anita Park.

Several key contenders worked at Santa Anita Sunday morning, including possible Longines Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) starters Express Train , Max Player , and Tripoli .

Max Player, who burst into championship contention with back-to-back victories in the July 3 Suburban Stakes (G2) over Dubai World Cup Sponsored by Emirates Airline (G1) hero Mystic Guide  and a four-length romp in the Sept. 4 Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes (G1), drilled five furlongs in 1:00 2/5 in company with Stonestreet Stables' Clairiere  in his penultimate tune-up for the Classic.

An impressive winner of the Sept. 25 Cotillion Stakes (G1) at Parx Racing, Clairiere is pointing toward the Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1).

TVG Pacific Classic (G1) captor Tripoli worked a sharp five furlongs in 1:00 for trainer John Sadler. The son of Kitten's Joy   was most recently fourth in the Awesome Again Stakes (G1).

Finishing just ahead of Tripoli when third in the Awesome Again, C R K Stable's Express Train , breezed five furlongs in 1:01 4/5. The John Shirreffs trainee captured the San Diego Handicap (G2) and San Pasqual Stakes (G2) this year.

At Belmont, Peter Brant's three-time grade 1 winner Raging Bull   breezed five-eighths in 1:01 4/5 in company with graded stakes winner Orglandes  over firm Belmont inner turf.

"They both worked great," said trainer Chad Brown.

Raging Bull, a last out third in the Sept. 18 Ricoh Woodbine Mile (G1T), will make his next start in the FanDuel Breeders' Cup Mile Presented by PDJF (G1T). The 6-year-old Dark Angel  bay was 10th in last year's Mile.
