Grade 1 winner Paris Lights , a 4-year-old daughter of Curlin   who descends from the influential broodmare Blush With Pride, has been supplemented to Book 1 of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. She will be consigned by ELiTE, agent, as a racing or broodmare prospect.

Bred in Kentucky by WinStar Farm and campaigned by WinStar Stablemates Racing, Paris Lights demonstrated her versatility during a four-race win streak that included the 2020 Coaching Club American Oaks (G1) over 1 1/8 miles at Saratoga Race Course and this year's Distaff Handicap (G3) over seven furlongs at Aqueduct Racetrack. Paris Lights, trained by Hall of Famer Bill Mott, scored the first two victories of her career at Churchill Downs before winning the prestigious CCA Oaks. She has earned $403,842 from a 4-0-3 record in nine starts.

"Paris Lights is the whole package," WinStar Farm president, CEO, and racing manager Elliott Walden said. "She has a grade 1 race record combined with a world-class pedigree. We are excited to offer her at Keeneland as one of the most exciting broodmare prospects in the catalog."

Paris Lights is out of the Bernardini mare Paris Bikini, a half sister to graded stakes winner America  (by Bernardini's sire A.P. Indy), who produced this year's Dwyer Stakes (G3) winner First Captain . A son of Curlin, First Captain was a $1.5 million purchase from Stone Farm's 2019 consignment to The Saratoga Sale, Fasig-Tipton's select yearling sale in New York. He debuted in April for trainer Shug McGaughey and won his first three starts for West Point Thoroughbreds, Siena Farm, Bobby Flay, and Woodford Racing.

Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Blush With Pride, the fourth dam of Paris Lights, is the dam of three graded/group winners, including Better Than Honour , who in turn produced Belmont Stakes (G1) winners Jazil  and Rags to Riches , the latter also champion 3-year-old filly. Another daughter of Blush With Pride, Maryinsky, is the dam of European champion Peeping Fawn  and group 1 winner Thewayyouare .

"Paris Lights represents a rare opportunity to purchase a grade 1-winning daughter of Curlin at public auction," ELiTE founder and managing partner Brad Weisbord said. "As a descendant of Blush With Pride, she has a deep and active family that includes Broodmare of the Year Better Than Honour. Her win in the CCA Oaks and her stellar pedigree makes her a highly desirable addition to the November sale."

"Keeneland is thrilled to have the opportunity to offer Paris Lights in the November sale," Keeneland vice president of sales Tony Lacy said. "Her outstanding breeding combined with racetrack excellence make her a valuable addition to Book 1."

Paris Lights is cataloged as Hip 224D in the first session of the Keeneland November sale. The auction starts Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. ET and continues through Nov. 19. Keeneland will accept supplements to Book 1 until its November sale begins.
