The Breeders' Cup announced that Claiborne Farm in Paris, Ky., is the fifth farm to become an official farm partner of the World Championships.

Coolmore, Lane's End Farm, Three Chimneys Farm, and WinStar Farm are the other Breeders' Cup farm partners.

This year's World Championships will be held Oct. 30-31 at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington.

As a part of the multi-year agreement, Breeders' Cup said Claiborne will receive a fully integrated media package of television, print, internet and onsite exposure surrounding the World Championships and the Breeders' Cup Challenge series of qualifying races, including commercial time in Breeders' Cup Challenge and Breeders' Cup World Championships telecasts. Claiborne stallions and progeny also will be identified with on-screen graphics during those telecasts in the post parade.

"As with all of our farm partners, Claiborne has been a vital supporter in nominating foals and stallions to the Breeders' Cup program over the years and has developed an impeccable reputation as a prominent global leader in the Thoroughbred racing and breeding business," Craig Fravel, Breeders' Cup president and CEO, said in a release.

"The Breeders Cup offers the very best of Thoroughbred racing in a championship format, and we are excited to team up to be a farm partner," said Walker Hancock, managing director of Claiborne Farm.

Claiborne is also the sponsor of the Claiborne Breeders' Futurity (gr. I) at Keeneland, a Breeders' Cup Challenge "Win and You're In" qualifying race for the Sentient Jet Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I).
