Consistent Sarah Sis Set for Fantasy Stakes

After winning the Honeybee Stakes (gr. III) starting from the outside post in a field of eight, Sarah Sis will look for a similar outcome from the inside post against 10 other 3-year-old fillies in the $400,000 Fantasy Stakes (gr. III) April 4 at Oaklawn Park.

Trained by Ingrid Mason, Joe Ragsdale's Sarah Sis has finished first or second in all six of her career starts and the Sharp Humor filly enters the Fantasy off a clear victory in the local prep for the race, the March 7 Honeybee, which is conducted at the same 1 1/16-mile distance.

In January, Sarah Sis finished second in a pair of stakes at Oaklawn before securing her first career stakes victory in the Honeybee. Julio Felix, who has been aboard for all of her starts this season, is scheduled to ride Saturday.

While Sarah Sis will look to add to her Oaklawn success, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners' Feathered will ship in for the Todd Pletcher stable. The fourth-place finisher in last year's 14 Hands Winery Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) and runner-up in the Starlet Stakes (gr. I) enters off a fourth-place finish in an allowance-optional claiming race March 5 at Gulfstream Park, where she disappointed as the 2-5 favorite.

A daughter of Indian Charlie, Feathered has placed in a pair of grade I stakes, but is still searching for her first stakes victory.

The Fantasy features the top four finishers from the Honeybee, as runner-up Oceanwave, third-place finisher Pangburn, and fourth-place Purr join Sarah Sis. Super Saks, who finished eighth in the Honeybee after winning a maiden race by 11 lengths, also will try again in the Fantasy.

California-based trainer Jerry Hollendorfer ships in Achiever's Legacy, a stakes winner at Del Mar last year. Breaking from the outside will be Include Betty, a daughter of Include   who won this year's Suncoast Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs.
