Speedway Stables' Corniche  led throughout in the $2 million TVG Breeders' Cup Juvenile Presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (G1) Nov. 5 at Del Mar to remain undefeated in three starts.

The Quality Road   colt, also a winner of the Oct. 1 American Pharoah Stakes (G1) at Santa Anita Park, is the fifth Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner for trainer Bob Baffert. Mike Smith was up for the victory, collecting his third win in the race and first since 2002.

Corniche completed the 1 1/16 miles of the Juvenile in 1:42.50.

Pappacap  took home runner-up honors over Giant Game  in third.

The 9-5 morning-line favorite Jack Christopher  was scratched on the advice of Breeders' Cup veterinarians because of a minor left shin issue. He will be evaluated next week in Kentucky by renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Larry Bramlage.
