Coolmore Australia will award a brand new Ferrari to the owner of the first Justify   foal to win a selected 2- or 3-year-old feature race.

The new concept will see Coolmore present a Ferrari to the buyer listed in the official sales results or owner-breeder of the first Justify to win one of the qualifying races, which include group 1 and lucrative special condition races.

The first Justify yearlings will sell at next month's Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and the offer will apply to all yearling sales throughout the year in Australia and New Zealand, as well as all owner-breeders with Justify yearlings to race.

"In the past, other farms have offered cash bonuses as incentives for various first-crop sires, however with a stallion as special as Justify we thought it was appropriate to reward the owners of the first group 1-winning Justify with a Ferrari," said Coolmore Australia principal Tom Magnier.

"Ferraris and Justify have so much in common. They are both fast, red, powerful, and incredibly stunning and, given the quality of his stock that we have seen, we're convinced that we will be giving one away."

The first opportunity for owners of Justify foals to win the Ferrari bonus will be the Magic Millions 2YO Classic in January 2023, while other eligible 2-year-old races include the five Australian group 1 features for juveniles, namely the Golden Slipper (G1), Blue Diamond Stakes (G1), Sires' Produce Stakes (G1), Champagne Stakes (G1), and J. J. Atkins Stakes (G1), as well as lucrative auction house races, the Inglis Millennium and Karaka Million, in addition to Magic Millions' $2 million feature race.

Qualifying 3-year-old races include age-restricted spring group 1s the Golden Rose (G1), Coolmore Stud Stakes (G1), and Caulfield Guineas (G1), while in Sydney's autumn the Rosehill Guineas (G1) and Randwick Guineas (G1) are eligible races. Weight-for-age races include The Everest, Cox Plate (G1), and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (G1).

"Justify is the only U.S. Triple Crown winner to ever retire undefeated and is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary horses to shuttle to Australia," added Magnier.

"Ever since it was announced that he was shuttling he has been met with an incredible response by Australasian breeders, and covered an unbelievable book of mares in his first season.

"We could not be happier with the quality of the Justify stock that we have at Coolmore and reports from all of our clients with Justify yearlings to sell and race has been overwhelmingly complimentary. We couldn't be more confident about Justify leaving his mark on the Australian breeding landscape in the future, and we are so excited by what is to come."

Justify, who has 96 live foals from his first Southern Hemisphere crop and 86 in his second, has 26 yearlings consigned for January's Magic Millions sale, while the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in February has six youngsters cataloged.
