Robert Cole Jr.'s homebred Math Man Marco  defeated a field of six other West Virginia-bred 3-year-olds by seven lengths in his debut Jan. 15 at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races. In doing so, the chestnut gelding became the first winner for his sire Alliance .

Trained by Irving Velez and ridden by Arnaldo Bocachica, Math Man Marco led at every point of call and completed 4 1/2 furlongs in :52.81 on the fast track. He picked up $17,742 in earnings.

Math Man Marco is the second foal and first winner produced from the Eurosilver  mare Euro Indian Girl , a 12-time winner of $208,702.

Alliance, an unraced 8-year-old son of Harlan's Holiday, entered stud at Bonita Farm in Maryland in 2018. Out of the Stravinsky  mare Life Happened , he is a half brother to Tepin , a two-time champion grass mare who captured the 2015 Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T) and 2016 Queen Anne Stakes (G1) on her way to earnings of over $4.4 million. Life Happened also produced millionaire Vyjack , a graded stakes winner on dirt and turf who set a course record of 1:31.69 when taking the 2016 City of Hope Mile (G2T) on the Santa Anita Park turf, and multiple graded stakes-placed Prime Cut . Life Happened is a half sister to multiple graded stakes winner and sire Disco Rico .

Alliance stands at Bonita Farm for an advertised fee of $4,000 in 2022.
