Four time grade 1 winner and champion 3-year-old Maximum Security   sired his first reported foal at Dell Ridge Farm near Lexington Jan. 17, when Pussyfoot, a full sister to grade 1 winner Morning Line , foaled a bay filly at 5.39 a.m., according to Ashford Stud.

The filly was fittingly bred by Gary and Mary West, who also bred and raced Maximum Security. The 6-year-old son of New Year's Day—who was also raced by the Wests—earned more than $12.4 million and won the Xpressbet Florida Derby (G1), TVG.com Haskell Invitational Stakes (G1), Cigar Mile Handicap (G1), inaugural $20 million Saudi Cup, and the TVG Pacific Classic Stakes (G1). Maximum Security stands at Ashford for $15,000

"She's outstanding," said Des Ryan of Dell Ridge Farm. "She's a big strong foal and is very well put together, I'm delighted with her. We have a lot of Maximum Security foals on the way and if they all look like this, we'll be very happy."

Pussyfoot, a daughter of Tiznow, was bred by Dell Ridge and acquired by the Wests as a yearling for $400,000 at the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling Sale. Though she didn't distinguish herself at the track, her dam, Indian Snow, has produced five winners from nine to race, including millionaire Morning Line, stakes winner Liam's Pride , and multiple stakes-placed winner Brady Baby . Pussyfoot's second dam is multiple grade 1 winner November Snow.
