Stakes-Placed Horses Top Supplements to OBS Winter Sale

The supplemental catalog to the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2022 Winter Mixed Sale is now available online. A total of 52 horses have been supplemented to the sale, highlighted by a pair of stakes-placed newly turned 3-year-olds.

Hip No. 334, Winging It , a colt by Into Mischief  , finished second last out in the Aug. 21 Proud Man Stakes at Gulfstream Park. Out of Campionessa  (A.P. Indy ), he is a half to two stakes winners and has been breezing this winter in Florida toward his return.

Hip No. 349, Fifth Anniversary  (Runhappy  —My Lady Lauren , by Hard Spun  ), was second in the Sept. 19 Woodbine Cares Stakes at Woodbine. She was later fourth in the Oct. 30 Glorious Song Stakes there.

Eight horses have been supplemented to the Preferred Session, for a total of 205 horses cataloged as Hip numbers 1-205. The session will begin Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. ET.

The addition of 33 supplements swells the Horses of Racing Age Session to a total of 112, cataloged as Hip numbers 251-362, beginning immediately following the Preferred Session.

Eleven horses have been added to the Open Session, which gets started at 11 a.m., Jan. 26 awith a total of 249 horses cataloged as Hip numbers 401-649.

The optional under tack show for racing age horses is scheduled for 9 a.m., Jan. 24.

The supplemental catalog will be available in print at the sales grounds. Supplements to the Winter Mixed Sale are still being accepted. Their catalog pages will not be available in the printed supplement but will be available in the online catalog and in print at the sales grounds.

As always, the sale will be streamed live via the OBS website at obssales.com, and also on BloodHorse.com.

Entries are being accepted for the 2022 OBS Spring Sale, set for April 19-22.
