'Kitten' Among 7 for Redrawn Transylvania

Ken and Sarah Ramsey's Luck of the Kitten, runner-up in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (gr. IT) last fall, heads a field of seven 3-year-olds entered for the $100,000 Transylvania Presented by Keeneland Select (gr. IIIT)  April 15 at Keeneland
 
The Transylvania, to be run at 1 1/16 miles on the turf, was initially scheduled for April 3, the opening day of the spring meet, but was one of four races canceled that afternoon because of inclement weather.
 
The Transylvania will go as the eighth race on Wednesday's nine-race program with a 4:42 p.m. ET post time. 
 
Trained by Wesley Ward, Luck of the Kitten will be making his 2015 debut in the race. Mike Smith has the mount and will break from post 1.
 
Luck of the Kitten was entered for the April 3 race, as was Paul Pompa Jr.'s Night Prowler and four other horses who will come back Wednesday.
 
Trained by Chad Brown, Night Prowler won the Dania Beach (gr. IIIT) at Gulfstream Park in January and was fifth as the favorite in his most-recent start in the Palm Beach (gr. IIIT). Javier Castellano has the mount and will break from post 2.
