Turfway, Charles Town Postpone Racing Due to Weather

Winter weather forced the cancelation of weekend racing at multiple tracks across the country Jan. 28.
In Kentucky, Turfway Park called off its Friday card due to a forecasted 8 degree wind chill and weather factors, but announced plans to still race Jan. 29 with a planned first post of 6:15 p.m. ET.
Due to the low temperatures and high winds forecast to move through the area Saturday, Charles Town's live racing program scheduled for that evening was postponed to Feb. 2. The card will be moved in its entirety to Wednesday, with the first racing kicking off at the West Virginia track's standard post time of 7 p.m. ET.
