Laurel Park Cancels Feb. 5 Live Card

Racing at Laurel Park
Lingering effects from winter storm Landon have forced the Maryland Jockey Club to cancel their live nine-race card originally scheduled for Feb. 5 at Laurel Park.
In addition to the winter storm, which passed through the Mid-Atlantic region Thursday and Friday, freezing temperatures and wind chill were contributing factors to the cancellation.
Laurel's planned partial ARC simulcast presentation from San Isidro has also been cancelled.
Laurel, Pimlico Race Course, Rosecroft, and the MJC's OTB network remain open for simulcasting.
Live action is scheduled to return to Laurel with an eight-race program Feb. 6. Post time is 12:25 p.m. ET.
