Grade 1 winner Hog Creek Hustle   arrived this week at Buck Pond Farm in Versailles, Ky., where he will debut at stud this breeding season, which recently got underway.

Hog Creek Hustle, a 6-year-old son of Overanalyze was campaigned by Something Special Racing and trained by Vickie Foley during his racing career. A debut winner as a 2-year-old, he enjoyed a successful season as a 3-year-old, capped by a victory in the Woody Stephens Stakes (G1) on the Belmont Stakes (G1) undercard over grade 1 winners Mind Control  and Lexitonian  . He nearly landed another top-level score when dropping a nose decision to Mind Control in the H. Allen Jerkens Stakes (G1) later that year at Saratoga Race Course. Additionally, he earned placings in the Pat Day Mile Stakes Presented by LG&E and KU (G3) and Lecomte Stakes (G3).

As a 4-year-old, Hog Creek Hustle placed in both the Gulfstream Park Mile Stakes (G2) and Duncan F. Kenner Stakes. In training as a 6-year-old after taking time off last year to recover from surgery, in which he had a bone fragment removed, Hog Creek Hustle was ultimately retired when another small issue occurred, according to owner Patty Tipton of Something Special Racing.

He retired with a record of 4-7-2 from 24 starts and earnings of $774,546.

Hog Creek Hustle is out of the Candy Ride   mare Candy Fortune and is a half brother to graded stakes winner Majestic Dunhill.
