Very Cool, an unraced 3-year old son of American Pharoah   out of the stakes-placed Seattle Slew mare Combanchera , is entering stud at Caines Stallion Station near Wynnewood, Okla.

"We are extremely excited to offer the only U.S. sire by a Triple Crown winner whose broodmare sire is a Triple Crown winner," said Jeff Jackson, a partner in the new stallion syndication. "To make this happen in Oklahoma is a dream come true. He will provide great value with a tremendous pedigree to all the breeders in this region of the country. He is impeccably bred … and a near carbon copy of his sire—extremely athletic with a powerful shoulder and hindquarters. It is his pedigree that makes him stand out, especially as a regional sire."

Bred in Kentucky by Dulane Farm and Springhouse Farm, Very Cool will stand for an introductory fee of $1,000.

Combanchera is out of the grade 1-placed stakes winner In Her Glory , who is also the dam of Sambuca Classica, the dam of champion 2-year-old colt and sire Classic Empire   and stakes winners Anytime Magic  and Uptown Twirl . Very Cool is a half brother to Bay Park Boy , a stakes winner in New York-bred company.

"I hope we can get him off to the right start at stud, supported by some of the finest mares in Oklahoma and this part of the country," Jackson said.
