My Miss Sophia Back in Friday's Doubledogdare

Last year's Longines Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) runner-up My Miss Sophia will open her 4-year-old campaign Friday, April 17 as one of nine fillies and mares entered in the $100,000 Hilliard Lyons Doubledogdare Stakes (gr. III) at Keeneland.
My Miss Sophia hasn't raced since a fifth-place finish in the Lady's Secret Stakes in September at Monmouth Park, the daughter of Unbridled's Song has turned in four bullet works at Payson Park Training Center since March 17.
Friday's race will be the first time My Miss Sophia races for her new owner, John Clay's Alpha Delta Stables. She sold for $2.15 million at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky November sale where she was purchased by Reynolds Bell Jr., agent, from the Taylor Made Sales Agency consignment. Trained by Todd Pletcher last year, she will make her debut for Bill Mott Friday.
Jockey Joel Rosario is scheduled to ride My Miss Sophia for the first time in Friday's 1 1/16-mile race. Before finishing second to eventual champion 3-year-old filly Untapable in last year's Kentucky Oaks, My Miss Sophia won the Gazelle Stakes (gr. II) at Aqueduct Racetrack.
Two other grade II winners have been entered in Friday's race. Breaking from the outside will be Jim Tafel homebred Tiz Windy, who won last year's Indiana Oaks (gr. II) at Indiana Downs. Sam-Son Farms homebred Deceptive Vision earned her grade II win on turf at Woodbine last year, where she also earned a grade I-placing, but the daughter of A.P. Indy has won both of her career starts on dirt.
