If you’ve never been to a horse sale before, it might be a good idea to go with someone who has. There are so many things to see and so many people to learn from. Earlier this year, America’s Best Racing Brand Ambassador’s Dan Tordjman and Victoria Garofalo travelled to Lexington, Ky., for a sale at Keeneland with Thoroughbred owners and breeders Ninety North Racing.
There, Ninety North sold and bought horses. Our cameras got a close-up look at the process, the different types of horses offered for sale, and the factors that owners consider before buying a horse.
Best of all, Ninety North broke it all down for us in 90 seconds.
This summer, ABR and Ninety North will be hosting a special weekend at Saratoga Springs, N.Y., home of historic Saratoga Race Course, and two large sales hosted at nearby Fasig-Tipton Co.
