The opening under tack session of the Ocala Breeders' Sales March 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale was off to a fast start March 10 in front of storms moving in. The quickest time of the day recorded at an eighth-mile clocked in :09 3/5 from Hip 139, a juvenile colt by Bayern, consigned by Really and Truly Thoroughbreds, agent.
Ultimately about 1:00 p.m. under tack works were put on hold for about 45 minutes before the rest of the day's action was canceled, leaving about 56 horses remaining to breeze. Thankfully the first horse for consignor Really and Truly Thoroughbreds was able to get out and lay down the quickest time of the day before the postponement.
