Group 1-placed, group 3 winner Tu Brutus sired his first winner when his daughter Paper Mansion won a six-furlong maiden claiming race at Parx Racing March 16 by 1 3/4 lengths.
Paper Mansion was bred in Kentucky by Rose Creek Farm out of the winning Concord Point mare Gymnast Jadie. The filly is the first runner out of the mare, who is a half sister to 2011 TVG Illinois Derby (G3) winner Joe Vann and grade 3-placed winner Amalfi Princess .
Paramount Sales offered Paper Mansion at the 2020 Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale, where she was bought back on a final bid of $7,000. She wound up with owner Ted Hoover and placed twice with trainer Harold Wyner before being moved to John Servis' barn. Her win was the first start for Servis and raised her earnings to $27,740 from five starts.
Tu Brutus is a 10-year-old son of Scat Daddy, who won the 2015 Alfredo L. S. Jackson Stakes (G3) and was third in the 2016 El Derby (G1) in Chile. His four starts in the U.S. included winning the 2017 Flat Out Stakes, a second in the Excelsior Stakes (G3), and a third in the Brooklyn Invitational Stakes (G2). He retired with $252,546 in earnings.
The stallion entered stud at Crestwood Farm in Kentucky where he stood for $5,000. He was exported to Turkey in 2020.
