Robert and Lawana Low's My Prankster , winner of the Feb. 5 Claiborne Farm Swale Stakes (G3) in his most recent start, and Tom Durant's homebred Tejano Twist , first or second in eight of his 10 career starts, headline a field of a dozen 3-year-olds for the $400,000 Lafayette Stakes going seven furlongs on the main track April 8 at Keeneland.
The Lafayette will go as the seventh race on the 10-race program with a 4:12 p.m. ET post time.
Trained by Todd Pletcher, My Prankster returns to Keeneland for the first time since finishing second in last fall's closing-day Bowman Mill Stakes. Luis Saez, who has been aboard for all three of My Prankster's victories, has the call from post 8.
Tejano Twist, who drew post 12, was a 7 1/4-length allowance winner at Keeneland last fall, and closed his 2021 campaign by finishing second to top Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) contender Epicenter in the Gun Runner Stakes at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots. Joe Rocco Jr. has the mount for trainer Bret Calhoun.
