Trainer Chad Brown is still considering the Triple Crown options for Wood Memorial Stakes Presented by Resorts World Casino (G2) runner-up Early Voting , with either the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) or the Preakness Stakes (G1) on the table.

"We haven't made a decision yet," Brown said April 13. "I want to see how he does this week and how the field comes into shape with any defections and get more of a feel for the horse. How the pace comes together will play a big part. It's a tough decision. He took a big jump in his last start, which was only his third lifetime, so an extra two weeks is appealing (for the May 21 Preakness). But if you are among the top dozen choices for the Derby, which I believe he is, it's hard to pass up."

Brown said he plans to work the son of Gun Runner   next weekend, giving him two weeks of rest since the April 9 Wood Memorial. He set the pace in the Wood, but was collared in the final yards and lost by a neck to Mo Donegal .

Early Voting, who won the 1 1/8-mile Withers Stakes (G3) earlier this year, is 14th on the Kentucky Derby Leaderboard.

Brown also said Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1) winner Zandon  is doing fine after his April 9 victory at Keeneland and will ship to Churchill Downs "in a couple of weeks."
