The Distorted Humor colt consigned as Hip 671 breezes a quarter-mile in :20 3/5 during Day Four of the under tack show for the OBS Spring Sale

Three juveniles blazed a blistering quarter-mile in :20 3/5 April 13 at the fourth session of the Ocala Breeders' Sales Spring 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale under tack show. A filly by Mizzen Mast  and colts by Distorted Humor  and Lord Nelson  posted the days leading time at the distance. 

  • Hip 543, consigned by Wavertree Stables, agent, the chestnut filly by Mizzen Mast out of stakes winner Hurricane Bernie , by Sea of Secrets, and is a three-quarter sister to twice Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T) winner Mizdirection .
  • Hip 548, the dark bay or brown colt by Lord Nelson consigned by Coastal Equine, agent, is a half brother to stakes-placed OBS Spring Sale graduate Macho Miah  out of the winning Officer mare, I Know You Know.
  • Hip 671, consigned by Pick View, agent, is a bay colt by Distorted Humor out of Life Force, by Sky Mesa  , from the family of multiple graded stakes winner Supah Blitz .

Five youngsters shared honors for the session's fastest eighth-mile, stopping the timer in :09 4/5.

  • Hip 537, the bay filly by Uncle Mo   consigned by Clary Bloodstock, is out of the graded stakes winner House Rules , by Distorted Humor .

  • Hip 546, consigned by Eddie Woods, agent, is a bay colt by Goldencents  , a half brother to the April 9 Madison Stakes (G1) winner Just One Time  out of Ida Clark, a winner, by Speightstown  .

  • Hip 611, the bay filly by Street Sense   consigned by Lucan Bloodstock, agent, is out of Katie's Keepsake, by Medaglia d'Oro  , a daughter of graded stakes winner Salty Strike .

  • Hip 674, the gray or roan colt by Macho Uno  consigned by Grassroots Training and Sales, agent, is out of Lil Miss Richie, by Half Ours , and is a three-quarter sister to graded stakes winner Macho Macho  from the family of grade 1 stakes winner Fantastic Look .

  • Hip 687, consigned by Top Line Sales, agent, is a bay filly by Mo Town   out of Longride to Wisdom, by Harlan's Holiday , a daughter of stakes winner Clever Idea .

Nineteen horses turned in eighths in :10 flat Wednesday.

The under tack show continues Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. with Hipd 705 - 880 scheduled to breeze. The session will be streamed live via the OBS website at obssales.com and also via BloodHorse's website.

Under tack results and videos are posted on the OBS website at obssales.com and can be viewed on kiosks in the breezeway and in the video room adjacent to the horsemen's lounge. In-room viewing is available at The Courtyard by Marriott, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, and the Ocala Hilton, plus lounge viewing is available at the Hilton.

The sale begins April 19-22 at 10:30 a.m. ET each day.
