Tasleet wins the 2017Duke of York Stakes at York

The ten horses in the Hyde Park Stud draft for this year's Osarus La Teste Breeze-Up Sale will be heavily scrutinized by purchasers following the victory of the farm's homebred Cachet , a breeze-up sale graduate, in the QIPCO One Thousand Guineas (G1) May 1 at Newmarket.

John Bourke's Westmeath farm consigns the only 2-year-olds in the catalog by Tasleet  and U S Navy Flag , who have made bright starts to their stud careers.

Shadwell Stud's classy sprinter by Showcasing  is the sire of two winners from his first two runners and Hyde Park offers a daughter (Lot 35) of the Clipper Logistics Duke Of York Stakes (G2) winner out of the placed Invincible Spirit mare Spirit of Sound.

Four horses later (Lot 39), and from the wider family of the Tasleet filly, comes the U S Navy Flag colt out of Stanjames.com Pretty Polly Stakes winner Take The Hint , a Montjeu half sister to group 3 winners Convey  and Stronghold  out of a listed-winning daughter of All At Sea .

A third first season sire is also represented in the Hyde Park consignment; Tally Ho Stud's Kessaar , the only one by the Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes (G2) and 188bet Casino Sirenia Stakes (G3) winner in the sale. The 2-year-old is the first foal (Lot 62) out of Commodus, an Australian half sister to the group 3 winner Empowering , dam of Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes (G2) winner Mohawk .

Juddmonte's Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T) winner of 2018, Expert Eye  also has a member of his first crop in the catalog—a half sister to a pair of winners (Lot 37) descended from that operation's blue hen Toussaud, and she is offered by M Lopes Bloodstock.

French-based first season sires Chemical Charge , Mekhtaal , Recoletos , Seabhac , and Seahenge  are all represented as is the country's leading first crop sire of 2021 Zarak .

Laura Lanine offers a colt (Lot 63) by the group 1-winning son of Dubawi  and Zarak, the only juvenile in the sale by the Aga Khan Studs' stallion. He is the second foal out of the Manduro  mare Coryphee, who is already the dam of a winner, and is out of a half sister to Comer Group International Irish St. Leger (G1) winner and National Stud stallion Flag of Honour  and Air Chief Marshal .
