Following is a brief look at some of the horses training toward the $1 million Longines Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) May 1 at Churchill Downs.
 
Birdatthewire—Forum Racing's Birdatthewire walked the shedrow for a second day following an April 18 workout, and trainer Dale Romans said the Gulfstream Park Oaks (gr. II) winner would return to the track Tuesday to jog.
 
Forever Unbridled—Charles Fipke's Forever Unbridled galloped 1 1/2 miles before the renovation break under Emerson Chavez for trainer Dallas Stewart. A daughter of 2006 Kentucky Oaks winner Lemons Forever, Forever Unbridled is scheduled to work Friday.
 
Luminance/Maybellene—Kaleem Shah's Luminance jogged early Monday morning with exercise rider Jorge Alvarez up for trainer Bob Baffert. The filly had worked a bullet half-mile in :46 1/5 April 18. Maybellene, owned by Jill Baffert, galloped under Alvarez before the break, and is scheduled to breeze April 21, possibly under the supervision of her trainer.
 
Oceanwave—Gary and Mary West's Oceanwave jogged once around accompanied by a pony after the morning renovation break with exercise rider Santos Rivera aboard for trainer Wayne Catalano. Runner-up in the Fantasy (gr. III) in her most recent start, she is scheduled to work April 23.
 
Puca—Donegal Racing's Puca galloped 1 1/2 miles before the renovation break with exercise rider Jo Lawson up. Trainer Bill Mott said that Junior Alvarado, who rode the filly in her first three starts, will have the Oaks mount. Mott said that Puca was likely to breeze April 25.
 
Shook Up—Regis Racing's Shook Up walked the shedrow a day after working a bullet five furlongs in :59 at Churchill.
