Dream Shake wins an allowance at Keeneland

Exline-Border Racing, SAF Racing, Stonestreet Stables, and Richard Hausman's Dream Shake  headlines a field of a dozen 4-year-olds and up for the inaugural running of the $160,000 Knicks Go Overnight Stakes Presented by L&N Federal Credit Union going a mile on the main track May 7 at Churchill Downs. The race is restricted to 4-year-olds and up who have not won a graded stakes in 2021-22.

The Knicks Go will go as the day's sixth race with a 1:14 p.m. ET post time.

Trained by Peter Eurton, Dream Shake dueled champion Jackie's Warrior  through an epic duel in last year's Pat Day Mile Stakes Presented by LG&E and KU (G2) losing by a head on Derby Day. The son of Twirling Candy   placed third in the Runhappy Santa Anita Derby (G1) before the Pat Day Mile. Following a 7 1/2-month layoff, Dream Shake returned with an allowance victory at Keeneland April 10. 

Flavien Prat returns to the saddle on Dream Shake and will break from post 4.

Trainer Chris Hartman's Necker Island  will be one to watch. The 5-year-old son of Hard Spun   won the Bet on Sunshine Stakes last year at Churchill. He has placed third in three stakes, including the 2020 Indiana Derby (G3).
