Sheridan Joins Tattersalls as Online Sales Executive

Katherine Sheridan has joined Tattersalls, Europe's leading bloodstock auctioneers, in the role of online sales executive.

Originally from County Clare, Ireland, Katherine graduated with a degree in Law and European Studies from the University of Limerick and subsequently qualified as an Attorney after passing the New York Bar exam. After moving to Australia in 2012, Katherine established herself within the bloodstock industry working in the position of Credit Controller at Magic Millions. She later assumed an all-encompassing role at Newhaven Park Stud as Manager of Operations, Client Relations, and Marketing and now returns to the Northern Hemisphere with a wealth of experience and international connections.

The next sale on the Tattersalls Online platform will take place June 10 in advance of the Royal Meeting at Ascot. Applications are being accepted for horses in/out of training and breeding stock. Bidding will open at 10:00 a.m. (local time). and close at noon on June 10.

The Online Sale of 2021 saw 83 horses cataloged with 69 going on offer June 29. Twenty-nine horses changed hands for an aggregate of 274,300 guineas (US$337,939) at an average price of 9,932 guineas ($12,236) and a median of 4,200 guineas ($5,433). The top-priced offering, a breeding right to Overbury Stud's son of Kodiac Ardad  sold for 54,600 guineas ($67,267) to E. Player. To date, Ardad has sired 108 foals, 77 of which have started in the Northern Hemisphere, with 27 being winners of progeny earnings of $1,134,377.
