Longshot Proves First Winner for Tippity Tap

Front Cover Dream rallied from seventh to win the sixth race Dec. 12 at Aqueduct Racetrack, delivering the first win for New York-based sire Tippity Tap while providing massive payouts for longshot bettors .

Sent off at 99-1, Reyana and Reya Racing's Front Cover Dream passed five horses in the stretch and drew off late to post a clear win in the 5 1/2-furlong maiden-claiming race. Jockey Men Chen guided the 2-year-old filly to victory for trainer Randi Persaud.

Bred in New York by Evangelos Katrakazos, Front Cover Dream is the first starter and one of just three foals from Tippity Tap's first crop. A 7-year-old son of Tapit  —Fatal Distraction, by Hatchet Man, Tippity Tap will stand the 2014 season for $2,500 at Sandy Way Farm in New York.
