Olczyk Joins NBC's Kentucky Derby Coverage

NHL analyst and former hockey player Eddie Olczyk will be part of NBC Sports' coverage of the 2015 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brand (gr. I) as a handicapper, NBC Sports Group announced.
Olczyk, a longtime horse racing enthusiast, previously worked NBC Sports' coverage of the 2014 Breeders' Cup and the "Breeders' Cup Challenge Series: Win and You're In". He will serve as a handicapper for NBC Sports Group's full Triple Crown horse racing coverage this year.
"There's nothing like hockey and horses at this time of year," said Olczyk, whose Kentucky Derby assignment comes amidst his NHL Stanley Cup Playoff duties. "After working on NBC Sports Group's horse racing coverage last summer through Breeders' Cup, I'm thrilled to join the team for the Triple Crown season."
